What is Pediatric Speech Language Pathology
Paediatric Speech Language Pathology is a holistic approach to help children communicate effectively by assisting with the improvement of their verbal and non-verbal language skills.
Early speech and language intervention can make a remarkable impact on a child’s ability to communicate effectively within many environments.
Working closely with their Speech Language Pathologist, parents are also empowered to make meaningful change and support their child’s social, language and speech development.
The Assessment process can include evaluation of social skills, receptive and expressive language skills, play skills, and speech production (motor speech/articulation development).
Therapy sessions are individualized based on child and family goals and are fun and play based.
